Walk-ins for cuts and beard trims
How the line works
A hot shave is booked ahead. For a cut or a beard trim, this is how the line goes.
- 01
Step 1: Sign the board
The board hangs by the door. Write your name and what you are here for.
- 02
Step 2: Booked clients first
A booked client is seen at the booked time, and the line waits. We take the line in the order names went up.
- 03
Step 3: Watch the board
Waits vary. The board shows who is next, and a barber calls your name when a chair is yours.
- 04
Step 4: The line closes early
We stop adding names 30 minutes before we close, so everyone on the board is seen.

Walk-ins welcome for cuts and beard trims, Tuesday to Saturday, when a chair is open. Sign the board by the door; waits vary and the board shows who is next. Hot shaves are booked ahead. The line closes 30 minutes before we do.
About the line
Can I walk in for a hot shave?
A hot shave takes 40 minutes of one barber's chair, so it is booked ahead. If a chair is open when you walk in, ask: we will say yes when we can.
When is the line shortest?
It changes week to week. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings tend to be quieter, and Saturday fills early, but the board is the only true answer on the day.
Can I book and still walk in?
Booking is always the surest way to a chair. Walk-ins fill the gaps between booked clients.
